Coaching

Why don’t I feel good in myself? Why do I feel blocked at work, or in my relationship(s)? Why do I behave the way I do? Why do I find it difficult to be in a relationship? How can I truly be myself?

Big questions, small steps

These are the big questions in life that many of us struggle to answer. Sometimes you need an outsider to help make change happen. As a coach with lived experience, I know how challenging it can be to open up and talk about yourself. I can help you get over that potential obstacle with my non-judgemental approach.

At Clarity Lab, I’ll look for what works for you

I use a range of methods in my coaching work, including neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), transactional analysis and systemic work (or ‘constellations’). I use some of my tools to spotlight interactions between the mind, language and behaviour. Others I use to trace the origins of assumptions, convictions and beliefs – and their effect on our decision-making. Yet others will help us focus on the influences of your family history.

We may simply talk with each other, but I may also choose to use effective, challenging exercises to help you arrive at new insights and broaden your horizons. I work a lot with body language and body-based exercises to identify unconscious signals and draw on your inner resources.

Which approach is best for you depends on what you need and what you want to achieve. We will keep your goal in mind throughout the coaching process. My approach is clear, direct and thorough – and you can expect the occasional joke or two from me.

You always carry your past with you

This I know from my own personal experience: You always carry your past with you. At Clarity Lab, I’ll help you look at your past with understanding and compassion – even if your first reaction is something like ‘But I’ve hardly got any memories’ or ‘Nothing major happened in my past’.

The past is part of who you are. As well as being a rich source of information, it can offer tools that you can use in the future. Improving your understanding of where you come from can bring you clarity about where you want to get to – and how to get there.

Your roots

Where you come from impacts on many aspects of your life. You are always connected to your roots, whether that’s in a particular country, village, religion or family or cultural background. Sometimes you connect with them through nostalgia or homesickness, and sometimes through resentment, anxiety or denial.

At Clarity Lab, I will look into your roots with deep respect and curiosity. How do you relate to your origins? What tools can we find buried in your history? We will work together, looking at how you can embrace your roots in the current context of your life.
